Learn to Analyze RNAseq and ChIPseq Data


The Transcriptome and Genome Analysis Laboratory (TAL) and the Core Facility Medical Biometry and Statistical Bioinformatics are jointly conducting an introductory course on analysing data from RNAseq and ChIPseq experiments.

This course has two main aims:

  • Day 1: 2018-09-10, Monday, 13:00-18:00 Uhr
    • raw data QC
    • pre-processing of reads
    • read alignment
    • gene quantification
  • Day 2: 2018-09-11, Tuesday, 09:00-14:00 Uhr
    • differential gene expression
    • visualization
    • downstream analyses:
      • functional enrichment using GO terms
      • pathway enrichment
      • biological network analysis
  • Day 3: 2018-09-12, Wednesday, 13:00-18:00 Uhr
    • read alignment - transcriptomic vs. genomic alignment
    • ChIP QC - signal-to-noise ratio
    • peak calling - TFs vs. chromatin modifications
  • Day 4: 2018-09-13, Thursday, 09:00-14:00 Uhr
    • peaks in replicates - to merge or not to merge
    • gene annotations and feature association
    • motif discovery

Price

  • 300 € per Person for the full course, RNAseq and ChIPseq (day 1-4)
  • 200 € per Person for the RNAseq part of the course (day 1 and 2)
  • 200 € per Person for the ChIPseq part of the course (day 3 and 4)
