Welcome to the Department of Medical Statstics
Dear guests and colleagues!
The Department of Medical Statistics is one of four Departments in the Centre Informatics, Statistics and Epidemiology. The activities of the Department of Medical Statistics include clinical cooperations that we see through from grant applications to publications, a biostatistical advisory service for doctoral students and early career scientists, research in statistical methodology and teaching. More detailed information on these topics can be found on this homepage under the corresponding headers.
The current organisational structure of the Department includes three working groups. These are “Statistical Bioinformatics” led by Prof. Tim Beißbarth, “Nonparametric Statistics” headed up by Prof.em. Edgar Brunner, and “Clinical Trials” led by Prof. Reinhard Hilgers and myself. Further details on the structure of the Department are given in the organisational chart.
